But Sunday while out in the woods looking for a bee tree, Hay wood Bell, of Yadkin Valley, township found a human skeleton at the foot of a high rock cliff near Buffalo Creek. He at once notified coroner Clarke of the ghastly find and he summonsed a jury of six men J. W. Cottrell, P. McShane, T. 8. Bobbins, T. M. Hawkins and W. L. Bobbins and held an in quest. The bones proved to be those of Fin Witherspoon, colored, who mysteriously disappeared from home several years ago.
